Job summary

Global Medical Response’s Air Evac Lifeteam is seeking a Helicopter Pilot to provide critical medical air transport. This full-time role offers a salary range of $97,634 - $107,398 with a 10% Geo Modifier, a $15,000 sign-on bonus, and retention bonus plans, plus on-duty housing and a 7/7 schedule.

Responsibilities include transporting patients with a team of medical experts, ensuring aircraft readiness, maintaining regulatory documentation, coordinating with dispatch and crews, and upholding

Qualifications

• Current rotorcraft FAA Commercial Certificate is required.
• Rotorcraft instrument rating is required.
• Current FAA Class II Medical Certificate is required.
• Minimum flight hours listed in job post must be met.

Responsibilities

• Transport customers with a medical team to and from locations.
• Ensure aircraft readiness for flight dispatch and compliance.
• Maintain regulatory documentation and records.
• Communicate with dispatch, flight crews, facilities and partners.
• Provide shift change information following protocol.
• Maintain required certifications and ongoing training.

Responsibilities

• Working with a team of medical experts to safely transport customers to and from locations and facilities
• Ensure aircraft readiness for flight dispatches as described in the appropriate manuals, including all FAR and Air Evac Lifeteam requirements, and aircraft cleanliness duties
• Maintain accurate Air Evac Lifeteam and regulatory documentation and record keeping
• Effectively communicate and collaborate with dispatch, flight crews, facilities, and partners
• Provide shift change info to successive pilot and team following protocol for recording Air Evac Lifeteam change board details
• Accountable to maintain required certifications and ongoing training

Minimum Requirements

• Current Rotorcraft FAA Commercial Certificate
• Helicopter instrument rating
• Current FAA Class II Medical Certificate
• 2,000 Total Flight Hours
• 1,500 Helicopter Hours
• 1,000 Helicopter PIC Hours
• 500 Turbine Helicopter Hours
• 100 Helicopter Night Flight Hours (Aided or Unaided)
• 230 lb Weight Limit (including flight gear)

Preferred Qualifications

• B206 Aircraft Experience
• High School Diploma/Equivalent or Higher
