Job summary

Air Evac Lifeteam is seeking a Helicopter Pilot to provide medical air transportation services for GMR customers. The position offers a full-time schedule (7/7) with a $97,634–$107,398 salary range including a 10% geo modifier, plus a $15,000 sign-on bonus and retention bonuses.

On-duty housing is provided to support deployment across service areas. As part of a team of medical experts, you will ensure aircraft readiness, maintain regulatory documentation, and coordinate with dispatch, flight

Qualifications

• Current Rotorcraft FAA Commercial Certificate.
• Helicopter instrument rating.
• Current FAA Class II Medical Certificate.
• 2,000 Total Flight Hours.
• 1,500 Helicopter Hours.
• 1,000 Helicopter PIC Hours.
• 500 Turbine Helicopter Hours.
• 100 Helicopter Night Flight Hours (Aided or Unaided).
• 230 lb Weight Limit (including flight gear).
• High School Diploma/Equivalent or Higher.

Responsibilities

• Transport patients with a medical team to and from locations and facilities.
• Ensure aircraft readiness for flight dispatches per manuals, FARs, and company requirements.
• Maintain regulatory documentation and record keeping.
• Communicate with dispatch, flight crews, facilities, and partners.
• Provide shift change information to the next pilot per protocol.
• Maintain required certifications and ongoing training.

Responsibilities

• Working with a team of medical experts to safely transport customers to and from locations and facilities
• Ensure aircraft readiness for flight dispatches as described in the appropriate manuals, including all FAR and Air Evac Lifeteam requirements, and aircraft cleanliness duties
• Maintain accurate Air Evac Lifeteam and regulatory documentation and record keeping
• Effectively communicate and collaborate with dispatch, flight crews, facilities, and partners
• Provide shift change info to successive pilot and team following protocol for recording Air Evac Lifeteam change board details
• Accountable to maintain required certifications and ongoing training
