Job summary

Charles-Pankow-Builders is seeking a Proposal and Pursuit Specialist in a remote role within the AEC/construction sector. The position focuses on planning and producing compelling communication materials across verbal, visual, and written media to uphold a consistent brand voice.

The role requires 3–5+ years in AEC marketing, strong writing and presentation skills, and the ability to manage multiple proposals with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in English, journalism, marketing or communications or related field; experience may substitute.
• Degree in English, Journalism, Marketing or Communications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Energize Pankow’s brand to keep it fresh and relevant in connection with our Vision, Mission, Values and Strategic Goals.
• Maintain Pankow’s image by overseeing the development and maintenance of all brand marketing efforts for external and internal audiences.
• Coordinate qualifications, proposal and presentation preparation activities; oversee and participate hands-on in the production of all qualifications, proposal and presentation deliverables.
• Coordinate activities of external marketing resources (coaching, photography, graphics and technical writing).
• Support writing of proposal sections and cover letters and work with Preconstruction, Project Management and Operations personnel in researching and producing the story.
• Build relationships and work with Proposal Lead in developing win strategies and proposal preparation plans addressing client issues and RFP/RFQ requirements.
• Manage database and accurately catalog company project data.
• Organize post-proposal debrief.
