McGough Construction CO, LLC is seeking a Business Development Director in Sioux Falls, SD to identify, develop, and advance client relationships that support regional revenue and growth objectives. You will lead proactive prospecting, pipeline development, and pursuit execution within the local AEC market.

The role requires strategic thinking, disciplined execution, and collaboration with operations, marketing, and leadership.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 5-10+ years of related experience with a proven track record of profitable growth.
• 2+ years of business development experience in the AEC industry.
• Strong knowledge of the local AEC market.
• Experience in sectors: Technology/Life Science, Manufacturing, Higher Education, Corporate.

Responsabilidades

• New Business Development: prospect for new clients and convert opportunities into qualified pursuits.
• Maintain a robust pipeline within assigned markets/geographies.
• Identify potential clients and key decision-makers through research and networking.
• Develop relationships to generate repeatable opportunity flow.
• Plan and execute client approaches, positioning strategies, and pursuit plans.
• Collaborate with pursuit teams to develop proposals aligned to client needs and objectives.
• Provide interview preparation and coaching support to pursuit teams.
• Track leads, contacts, and pursuits in the CRM system.
• Support growth by strengthening client, AE, and trade partner relationships.
• Attend industry events to build market presence.
