Job summary

Executive Recruiting Consultants seeks a Director of Business Development for a progressive design/build/construction management client in Eastern South Dakota. You will drive new business opportunities by developing and maintaining relationships with commercial, industrial, and institutional clients.

Reporting to the CEO, you will lead the pursuit of projects through strategic networking, collaboration with operations, and the development of competitive proposals and budgets.

Responsibilities

• Report to CEO.
• Drive new business by building client relationships with commercial, industrial and institutional clients.
• Identify, pursue, and secure projects through strategic networking, prospecting and client engagement.
• Collaborate with operations and project teams to develop competitive proposals, budgets and client solutions.
• Build long-term partnerships with owners, developers, architects, engineers and industry stakeholders.
• Monitor market activity, industry trends and competitive opportunities to support revenue growth.
• Represent the company at industry events, client meetings and community organizations to strengthen market presence.
• Leverage proven sales experience and knowledge of construction methods to support revenue growth.
