Job summary

Bay Area Turning Point in Texas seeks a Hotline and Advocacy Manager to lead the Advocacy Department, supervise staff, and coordinate survivor services. You will supervise two Hotline Specialists and two Victim Advocates, provide crisis intervention, and ensure compliance with program requirements.

You will develop collaborations with police, hospitals, and community partners, manage housing funds, and coordinate trainings while maintaining detailed client records and reporting.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in managing people and programs.
  • 4 year degree with a minimum of 3 years related administrative/program experience, or 6 years strong experience.
  • Clear written and verbal communication; capable of team leadership and decision making.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize workloads.
  • Strong networking skills and knowledge of domestic violence/sexual assault dynamics.
  • Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs and work with limited supervision.

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct supervision to advocacy department (2 Hotline Specialists and 2 Victim Advocates).
  • Deliver direct advocacy, crisis intervention, and follow-up with victims and survivors.
  • Maintain client records per BATP compliance and funding requirements.
  • Coordinate training, outreach, and education workshops across settings to engage communities.
  • Oversee participant entry/exit and ensure program targets are met.
  • Manage monthly housing budgets and review housing packets for accuracy.
  • Collaborate with police, hospitals, schools, and community partners.
