Job summary

University of Nebraska-Lincoln is seeking a Case Manager within the Office of Student Advocacy and Support. The role centers on connecting distressed students with resources, coordinating campus responses, and advocating for students with staff and faculty across units.

The Case Manager will work with residential, non-residential, graduate, and international students, helping resolve complex situations and facilitating access to services while participating in training and development activities

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in related area and/or equivalent experience/training.
• Three years demonstrated experience in crisis management, crisis intervention, and case management with college students or emerging adults.
• Demonstrated awareness and understanding of multiple facets of diversity and strong interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the nexus of information and integration for the campus' response to distressed students.
• Coordinate responses and services for individual students and advocate on their behalf.
• Develop and deliver training for faculty and staff and participate in university events.
• Research national best practices and participate in the Behavioral Intervention Team (BIT).
• Support activities and programs of the Student Advocacy and Support Office.
