Job summary

Nexstar Media Group, Inc.’s KXAN is seeking a Marketing Consultant to drive local ad revenue across broadcast, OTT/Streaming, and digital campaigns. You will identify opportunities, tailor strategies, and manage campaigns from proposal through renewal, building strong client relationships.

As a trusted advisor, you’ll partner with business owners and agencies to deliver measurable results, while expanding revenue through upsells and new initiatives in a fast-growing Austin market.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, Business, or related field (or equivalent sales/marketing experience).
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
• Sales, marketing, media or advertising experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Prospect and develop new business through outbound outreach, networking, referrals, and in-market visits.
• Conduct discovery meetings to assess client goals, challenges, and marketing needs.
• Develop and present customized broadcast, streaming, and digital advertising solutions.
• Launch, manage, and optimize campaigns from proposal through renewal.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships through ongoing communication and performance reviews.
• Increase revenue through renewals, upselling opportunities, and new campaign initiatives.
• Collaborate with internal sales support, strategy, creative, and research teams to deliver exceptional client results.
• Maintain accurate activity, pipeline, and revenue forecasting within CRM systems.
• Serve as a trusted marketing resource within the local business community.
• Stay current on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in digital advertising and media sales.
