Job summary

Nexstar Media Group, Inc. (NXST) seeks a KXAN Marketing Consultant in Austin, TX to drive ad revenue across Broadcast Television, OTT/Streaming, and Digital Marketing. You will identify opportunities, tailor campaigns, and guide client campaigns from proposal to renewal.

As a trusted marketing advisor, you will partner with business owners and agencies to deliver measurable results, build long-term relationships, and grow Nexstar’s local market presence in a fast-growing Central Texas region.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of digital marketing, including OTT/Streaming, paid media, and online advertising solutions.
• Excellent relationship-building skills with the ability to establish long-term client partnerships.
• Self-motivated, results-oriented, and driven to meet and exceed revenue goals.
• Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Prospect and develop new business through outbound outreach, networking, referrals, and in-market visits.
• Conduct discovery meetings to assess client goals, challenges, and marketing needs.
• Develop and present customized broadcast, streaming, and digital advertising solutions.
• Launch, manage, and optimize campaigns from proposal through renewal.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships through ongoing communication and performance reviews.
• Increase revenue through renewals, upselling opportunities, and new campaign initiatives.
• Collaborate with internal sales support, strategy, creative, and research teams to deliver exceptional client results.
• Maintain accurate activity, pipeline, and revenue forecasting within CRM systems.
• Serve as a trusted marketing resource within the local business community.
• Stay current on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in digital advertising and media sales.
