RWE Americas, LLC is hiring a Wind Farm Technician II to operate, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair wind, solar, and BESS assets. You will follow site policies, perform scheduled services and testing, and document activities in the CMMS while supporting safety and reliability.

The role requires a high school diploma, 3+ years in renewable energy or related fields, and a valid driver’s license. On-call duties, travel between sites, and mentorship of junior technicians are part of the job.

Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Associate degree or certification in renewable energy or electrical systems is a plus.
• Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in renewable energy, power generation, or heavy industrial maintenance.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel between sites.

Responsibilities

• Operate, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair wind, solar, and BESS assets per EHS rules.
• Perform scheduled services, major component replacements, and system testing.
• Diagnose and resolve medium-level issues; support root cause analysis for recurring problems.
• Document maintenance activities and equipment performance in the CMMS.
• Ensure compliance with regulations and site policies; promote safety culture.
