Job summary

RWE Americas, LLC seeks a Wind Farm Technician II to support operations and maintenance at wind farm sites. You will perform scheduled maintenance, troubleshoot, repair activities and safety exercises, ensuring safe execution and maximum availability of wind assets.

The role involves traveling to sites, using hand and power tools, and maintaining records of service activities in the maintenance system. On-site work includes towers, substations, and related facilities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate's Degree in sciences or related field preferred.
• Journeyman/Master Electrician license or Wind Tech certificate beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safety of all operation and maintenance activities at wind farm site.
• Assist in acceptance and performance tests after maintenance/outages.
• Support turbine maintenance, services and component work.
• Assist with Balance of Plant maintenance including substations and collection systems.
• Maintain tools, equipment and records of service activities.
