Job summary

G&W Electric is seeking a Welder II to assemble, align, square up, fit and tack weld a variety of subassemblies of moderate to advanced complexity using diverse tools and fixtures. You will set up and regulate oxyacetylene torch and electrical parameters to ensure proper penetration and fusion of metals, and perform Mig/Tig welding in multiple positions.

Qualifications

• Proficient in MIG and TIG welding across multiple positions.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings and BOMs.
• Familiar with oxyacetylene setup and gas regulation.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, align, square up, fit and weld subassemblies of moderate to advanced complexity.
• Set up and regulate oxyacetylene torch, current and voltage for proper fusion.
• Perform Mig/Tig welding in various positions and inspect finished work.
