Job summary

BELFOR Holdings Inc. seeks an Advanced Water Damage Specialist to lead the drying and repair of residential buildings, large commercial, industrial, and institutional spaces, and their contents.

You will coordinate with local, regional, and national teams, manage moisture and desiccation plans, and ensure safe, effective restoration work. The role requires reading plans, calculating humidity and energy needs, and guiding crews with PPE and safety practices.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising water damage projects on large losses.
• Knowledge of moisture mapping and drying techniques.
• Willingness to travel and work nights/weekends as required.

Responsibilities

• Direct the teams in the use of the right PPE for the job.
• Review daily project requirements, document progress and notify managers of challenges.
• Provide field documentation, photos, charts and sketches for projects.
• Read plans/floor plans, develop humidity content records, and determine drying objectives.
• Calculate humidity load, cubic meters affected, and request support for large losses.
• Determine electrical consumption of drying equipment and temporary power needs.
• Perform daily vehicle safety inspections and maintain equipment cleanliness.
• Ensure compliance with BELFOR standards to protect client properties.
• Demonstrate strong customer service and work under time constraints.
• May travel and work nights/weekends as needed.
