Job summary

Advanced Powder Products seeks an experienced engineering leader to drive multiple programs across disciplines at our Philipsburg, PA site. You will define scope, schedules, and success metrics while guiding tooling design and ensuring customer requirements are met.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in engineering and 5+ years of leadership within manufacturing. You’ll mentor teams, uphold ISO 13485/9001 standards, and report progress to senior leadership.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering required.
  • 5+ years in engineering leadership or program management in manufacturing.
  • Strong project management and leadership capabilities.
  • Ability to guide technical teams and solve complex problems.

Responsibilities

  • Lead planning, execution, and delivery of multiple engineering programs across teams.
  • Define scope, goals, deliverables, schedules, and success metrics.
  • Oversee tooling design and ensure alignment with standards and customer requirements.
  • Support translation of customer needs into technical solutions and post-sales support.
  • Guide program managers to deliver on time, within budget, to quality standards.
  • Foster communication between engineering, manufacturing, and quality.
  • Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Drive customer satisfaction through technical excellence and proactive communication.
  • Develop and implement engineering policies, standards, and best practices.
  • Provide regular reporting to senior leadership on performance and status.
  • Lead and mentor engineers and program managers toward accountability and innovation.
  • Oversee new product launch timelines and weekly customer reporting.

Job Responsibilities

  • Monitor project and tooling progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies
  • Drive customer satisfaction through proactive communication and technical excellence
  • Develop and implement engineering policies, standards, and best practices
  • Provide regular reporting to senior leadership on team performance, project status, and strategic initiatives
  • Lead and mentor a team of engineers and program managers, fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement
  • Oversee the creation and management of all new product launch timelines
  • Ensure weekly customer reporting is accurate and sent on time
  • Hire, train, and mentor other engineers and supporting staff
  • Establish policies, procedures, and standards for new product launches
  • Use program management in ERP to help facilitate new product launches
  • Follow the standards of ISO 13485 and ISO 9001 International Standards
  • Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering discipline
  • 5+ years of experience in engineering leadership or program management within a manufacturing environment
  • Strong background in project management
  • Able to lead technical teams to solve complex problems
