Topographic, Inc. is seeking a Survey Technician II to execute complex land surveying tasks and review maps for accuracy and compliance with laws and regulations.

The role involves researching records for easements, using Trimble Business Center to process data, and producing detailed survey drawings in AutoCAD. Applicants should have a HS Diploma, prefer an Associate's in Surveying, and may hold SIT/CST certifications.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or equivalent required.
• Associates degree in Surveying preferred.
• SIT and CST Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Research county/city records for easements and deeds to prepare working sketches.
• Process field data with Trimble Business Center to create files for AutoCAD import.
• Create survey base drawings from field data, sketches, photos and reference maps.
• Produce subdivision maps, ALTA surveys, topographic surveys and related maps.
• Check submittals for completeness and accuracy before review.
• Prepare legal descriptions and exhibits for rights of way and parcels.
• Perform QA/QC on work produced by self and others.
• Carry out other duties as assigned.
