Job summary

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong mathematics used in field survey analysis.
• Ability to apply technical report writing standards and computer-assisted surveying.

• Ability to read and interpret maps, title reports, and legal descriptions.
• Proficient with MS Office and drafting reports/letters.

Responsibilities

• Perform research of county/city records on easements and deeds for field sketches.
• Use Trimble Business Center to process field data and prep files for AutoCAD import.
• Use field data, sketches, photos, and maps to create survey base drawings.
• Utilize AutoCAD to produce subdivision maps, ALTA surveys, and topo maps.
• Check submittals to clients for completeness and accuracy.
• Prepare legal descriptions and exhibits for right of way and parcels.
• Perform QA/QC on work submitted by self and others.
• Other duties as assigned.
