Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate of an NBRC approved Respiratory Therapist program.
• Registered Respiratory Therapist with current state license.
• BLS for healthcare providers; PALS/ACLS/NRP certifications as required.
• Advanced credential preferred (e.g. ACCS, AE-C, RPFT) per leadership.

Responsibilities

• Performs advanced respiratory care per physician orders and scope of practice.
• Assesses cardiopulmonary status through exams, history review, and therapy response.
• Communicates care plan to physicians, nurses, patients, families; acts as CRT resource.
• Mentors staff, supports clinical programs, and helps standardize protocols.
• Maintains accurate records and participates in quality improvement.
