Job summary

Sysco Connecticut, LLC is seeking an Operations professional to monitor and maintain large ammonia-based refrigeration and HVAC systems. You will assist Refrigeration Tech II & III and the Facility Manager to ensure asset integrity and code compliance, including IIAR, ASHRAE, ASME, EPA, and OSHA guidelines.

The ideal candidate has HVAC/R schooling, RETA CIRO certification (or equivalent) and at least four years of HVAC/R service experience, with on-site duties and a Monday–Friday shift.

Qualifications

• HVAC/R schooling or equivalent required.
• Four years of industrial HVAC/R experience.
• RETA CIRO certification or equivalent within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and perform preventive maintenance on ammonia refrigeration systems.
• Troubleshoot HVAC/R equipment and electrical components.
• Operate and oversee refrigeration, electrical, and HVAC systems daily.
• Maintain CMMS work orders and log materials.
• Follow safety regulations and document inspections.
