Job summary

UNC Health Care’s UNCHMG Urgent Care clinics in Clayton, Flowers, Hillsborough, Pittsboro and Chapel Hill, NC, seek Per Diem | Float Pool Urgent Care Nurse Practitioners (FNP) or Physician Assistants (PA). Providers treat episodic illnesses, minor injuries, and provide occupational health services and exams.

You will join an interdisciplinary team with a focus on delivering high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Completion of accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program.
• Minimum one year APP experience working in an acute care, primary care, urgent care, or emergency room setting required
• NC Licensure or ability to obtain
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with ability to establish rapport with patients & collaborate effectively with team members
• The ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Required procedures: Suturing, splinting
• DOT Certification
• Knowledge of OSHA recordables preferred, but not required

Description

UNCHMG Urgent Care clinics, located in Clayton, Flowers, Hillsborough, Pittsboro and Chapel Hill, NC, have Per Diem | Float Pool openings for Urgent Care Nurse Practitioners (FNP) OR Urgent Care Physician Assistants (PA). Providers are part of an interdisciplinary team and responsible for treating episodic illnesses, minor injuries, and providing occupational health services and exams.

Financial Package:

• Competitive Per Diem Pay Rate

Ideal Candidate:

• 8am to 8pm - Sunday - Saturday
• Plus, weekends & holidays
• Flexible, Per Diem | Float Pool Schedule
