Job summary

UNCHMG Urgent Care Clinics in North Carolina seeks a part-time Urgent Care Nurse Practitioner to join an interdisciplinary team, treating episodic illnesses, minor injuries, and providing occupational health services and exams at multiple locations.

Candidates must be a licensed Nurse Practitioner in NC, with strong communication skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced setting. Onsite work with flexible, part-time scheduling; suturing and splinting may be required.

Qualifications

• Completion of accredited Nurse Practitioner program.
• Experience in acute care, primary care, urgent care, or emergency room setting preferred.
• Must see patients 4 months of age and older.
• NC Licensure or ability to obtain.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with ability to establish rapport with patients and collaborate effectively with team members.
• The ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Required procedures: Suturing, splinting.
• DOT Certification.
• Knowledge of OSHA recordables preferred, but not required.

UNCHMG Urgent Care clinics, located in the Triangle of NC, have Part-time openings for Urgent Care Nurse Practitioners (NP) at multiple locations. Providers are part of an interdisciplinary team and responsible for treating episodic illnesses, minor injuries, and providing occupational health services and exams.
