We are seeking a dedicated, compassionate, and team-oriented Nurse Practitioner to join our Sleep Medicine program, providing comprehensive sleep care for adults with sleep disorders. Join a multidisciplinary team managing over 5,000 outpatient encounters annually, including patients with sleep apnea, restless legs, parasomnias, and severe sleepiness, with over 2,000 sleep studies conducted yearly.
The role offers autonomy in practice with support from four sleep medicine faculty members. The full-time schedule includes eight half-days in the sleep clinic per week, plus two half-days for administrative duties. The clinic is located on UVA Health grounds in Charlottesville, VA, with potential future opportunities for satellite clinics and telemedicine.
Your responsibilities include assessing patients with sleep concerns, ordering diagnostic or therapeutic procedures, and following patients longitudinally through their treatment. Complex cases beyond scope will be transitioned to sleep MDs.
