Job summary

Genesis HealthCare in the eastern West Virginia panhandle is seeking a full-time Advanced Practice Provider (NP or PA) to float between Shepherdstown, Charles Town, and Martinsburg. This role offers 32-40 hours per week with no on-call or weekend requirements and a base salary range of $109,000–$123,000 per year, plus incentive compensation.

The position supports nursing center residents with primary and urgent care, collaborating closely with the Center Leadership and Medical Director.

Qualifications

• The Advanced Practice Provider must be a graduate from an accredited School of Nursing program, licensed as a registered nurse, certified as a Nurse Practitioner by being a nursing graduate from an accredited Nurse Practitioner Program with a Master’s Degree in Nursing and have a concentration and specialty track of Older Adult and/or Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP). Will consider other concentrations based on experience and business need.
• The Physician Assistant must be a graduate from a program accredited by the ARC-PA and take the PA National Certifying Exam (PANCE) to use the PAC designation. PA state licensure required. NCCPA certification required.
• A minimum of two years experience working with adult or geriatric population is preferred.
• In states where practice allows; APRN with an unrestricted professional license and DEA, for each state in which they practice. PA with an unrestricted professional license and DEA for each state in which they practice.

Responsibilities

• The Advanced Practice Provider collaborates on-site with the Center Leadership Team for center specific goals and priorities and provides primary and urgent care services to nursing center residents.
• The Advanced Practice Provider works collaboratively with Center Leadership to achieve the mission of improving lives through high-quality health care and everyday compassion.
