Job summary

You will coordinate daily workflow, ensure compliance with USP protocols, and train newer staff while handling hazardous medications safely. Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Experience: 4 years as a pharmacy technician, and 2 years in a specialized area.
• Licenses and Certifications: Texas State Board of Pharmacy registration or Pharmacist intern status; Sterile compounding certification; Basic Life Support certification.

Responsibilities

• Audits and signs out all investigational drugs following protocol and policies.
• Coordinates daily workflow in the pharmacy, providing leadership to other technicians.
• Handles sterile and hazardous compounding activities per USP and protocol requirements.
• Assists with inventory management, ordering, shipping, receiving, and documenting pharmacy activities.
