Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Licenses/Certifications: TSBP Registered Pharmacy Technician; Pharmacist Intern with TSBP; Sterile compounding certification.
• Knowledge/Abilities: basic computer skills, data entry, organizational abilities, and good communication.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily workflow in assigned area and provide leadership to technicians.
• Receive calls from patients, nurses, physicians, triage based on urgency.
• Audit and sign out all controlled substances per guidelines and resolve discrepancies.
• Sterile and hazardous compounding: prepare sterile admixtures and handle hazardous medications.
