Job summary

Griffith Foods Limited is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join the on-site maintenance team in Lithonia, GA. The role focuses on installing, maintaining, and repairing machinery, electrical systems, and building structures to keep food production compliant with company standards.

The ideal candidate has a technical degree or equivalent experience, literacy in English, and the ability to work 1st–4th shifts with an optional forklift and CMMS proficiency.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or two-year certificate in Electrical Maintenance/Mechatronics, or equivalent.
• High school diploma with three years experience in electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and PLC programming.
• Experience handling food production equipment including mixers, fillers, packaging lines, palletizing systems, and bulk delivery systems.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently; read instructions and memos; communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Visually inspect and test machinery and equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair equipment by identifying issues with machines.
• Document work orders using CMMS.
• Clean and lubricate shafts, bearings, gears, and other parts of machinery.
• Repair and replace gauges, valves, and related equipment.
• Set up and operate machine tools like grinder, lathe, drill press, torches or welding equipment.
• Perform PMs and PD.M. as required; support autonomous maintenance and SOPs.
