Job summary

Avancez Assembly is looking for an Advanced Manufacturing Engineer II to develop assembly processes aligned with customer requirements, quality systems, and labor plans. You will lead automation discussions, select equipment, and manage projects from concept through launch.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure throughput, quality, and cost targets are met, while guiding process improvements and equipment qualification. Minimal travel applies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering is required.
• 3+ years in assembly/manufacturing with APQP experience.
• Supervisory experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed manufacturing plans for new programs requiring new equipment or retooling.
• Coordinate sourcing activities from RFQ to PO for major tooling/equipment purchases.
• Lead training for equipment operators and provide reference resources.
• Collaborate with PC&L to optimize material flow to production line.
• Work with Quality to drive PFMEA, Control Plans, and error-proofing into design.
