Job summary

FedEx Supply Chain is seeking a Maintenance Technician II to perform independent complex troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems in a warehouse environment.

You will execute preventative maintenance, interpret schematics, and manage complex repairs, including on-call duties. Safety compliance and accurate logs are essential responsibilities in this role.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent; 2+ years mechanical maintenance in manufacturing/packaging.
• Ability to work at elevated heights using ladders and operate aerial lift equipment.
• Strong problem-solving and maintenance skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Customer service oriented and a strong team player.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues/equipment.
• Perform scheduled preventative maintenance on machines, tools, and building systems (HVAC, electrical, automation, plumbing).
• Repair power transmission components, electrical panels and PLCs.
• Maintain safety and appearance of the building; perform minor repairs and upkeep.
• Communicate equipment status and repair timelines to peers and leadership.
• Read blueprints and schematics to understand system operations.
• Perform emergency repairs and upgrades to production equipment as needed.
• Maintain repair logs and use maintenance tracking software.
