Job summary

Lone Star College is hiring an Instructional Designer II to lead learning and development programs, including web-based and instructor-led formats. The role requires collaborating with clients and SMEs to create curricula and evaluate effectiveness.

The position involves leading design projects, adopting appropriate instructional technologies, and providing consultation on learning strategies across the region.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and at least 4 years of experience or an equivalent combination.
• Experience implementing ADDIE in instructional design.
• Design coursework with labs and ILT in industry.

Responsibilities

• Designs and develops highly complex course curricula and materials.
• Oversees development of curricula by SMEs with consultation.
• Conducts complex needs assessments and analyzes learning programs.
• Develops and conducts training workshops using eLearning tools.
• Evaluates programs and initiates refinements based on feedback.
• May serve as LSC-Online representative for online instructors community.
