Job summary

FedEx is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician III to support the preventive and predictive upkeep of material handling systems. You will troubleshoot mechanical power transmission, electrical/PLC controls, and welding, following engineering specs and manuals.

Use EAM software to log data, read schematics, and diagnose faults. The role may involve small projects, flexible schedules, and mentorship of junior technicians, with four years of related experience and a high school diploma required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Four (4) years in Industrial Maintenance with proficiency in mechanical power transmission, electrical and PLC/controls knowledge.
• Certificates in Industrial Maintenance/Mechatronics or related area preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative and predictive maintenance on material handling systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and PLC/controls failures.
• Read electrical and mechanical schematics for diagnostics.
• Develop scopes of work and participate in small project planning.
• May assist lower level technicians and operate safety trainings.
