Job summary

Medline in Hammond, LA is seeking a Maintenance Technician II for 2nd shift. Under minimal supervision, you will set up, adjust, perform preventative maintenance, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain assigned equipment critical to production and quality.

Responsibilities include preventive maintenance on conveyors, automation, robotics; document work in CMMS; mentor junior technicians; assist with facility projects; ensure safety procedures and PPE are followed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 5+ years' experience with forklift, conveyors and general equipment repairs.
• Experience troubleshooting complex equipment and PLC logic.
• Associates degree or apprenticeship in mechatronics/engineering tech preferred.
• Willingness to travel up to 10% and learn new equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance, routine inspections and ad hoc repairs on conveyors, automation and robotics.
• Troubleshoot equipment, document issues in CMMS and ticketing systems.
• Mentor junior maintenance personnel and assist on multi-person tasks.
• Support facility projects and verify corrective actions for production lines.
