Job summary

Hawthorne Cat in Waipahu seeks a skilled Tech 2 to perform high‑level repair, reconditioning, testing and adjustments on equipment sold by Hawthorne. Under the Service Supervisor, you will tackle engines, power trains, hydraulics, and related systems with minimal supervision.

Requirements include a high school diploma, valid driver's license, PC skills, and ownership of suitable hand tools; forklift certification or the ability to obtain it within 60 days, plus 5 years' experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Must have a valid Driver's License with a good driving record.
• Must have PC skills.
• Must have forklift certified or able to be certified within 60 days.
• Must own hand tools that are suitable to perform the work noted above.
• At least 5 years of experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Removes, installs, reconditions, and repairs engines and related components.
• Performs diagnostic tests on engines and power train components.
• Removes, installs, and repairs power train components and hydraulics.
• Performs diagnostic tests on hydraulic systems and checks for pressures and flow.
• Must meet flat rate standards and contribute to team goals.
