Job summary

Hawthorne Cat in Hawaii is seeking a skilled Tech 3 to join our service team. Under the Service Manager, you will perform high-skill work repairing, reconditioning, testing, and adjusting equipment Hawthorne sells.

You will remove, install, recondition, and repair engines and powertrain components, run diagnostic tests, and ensure work meets flat-rate standards. The role requires a high school diploma, a valid driver’s license, PC skills, forklift certification or eligibility, and owning hand

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Must have a valid Driver's License with a clean driving record.
• Proficiency with PC applications.
• Forklift certification or ability to obtain within 60 days.
• Must own hand tools suitable for the work.

Responsibilities

• Remove, install, recondition, and repair engines and related components.
• Perform diagnostic tests on engines for power/starting issues and performance.
• Inspect and repair powertrain components including transmissions and clutches.
• Meet flat rate targets as established by Caterpillar and industry standards.
• Contribute to team effort and perform other duties as assigned.
