Job summary

Advanced Facilities is seeking a Maintenance Technician to ensure the efficient operation and maintenance of mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems across assigned properties. The role includes rounds, preventive maintenance, painting, and housekeeping as directed by the Director of Facility Operations.

On-site duties encompass keeping systems running smoothly, addressing repairs, and complying with NFPA standards and local regulations while maintaining a safe work environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• 3+ years of related work experience operating mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems in a commercial property.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Basic computing skills in Outlook, Excel & Word.
• Experience with HVAC, boilers, heaters, pumps and refrigerant systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine plumbing, electrical, or HVAC requirements of buildings.
• Maintain heating equipment, chillers, pumps and air distribution systems.
• Monitor and adjust mechanical equipment for building comfort.
• Repair doors, ceilings, hand railings, floors and general repairs.
• Perform preventive maintenance per standards and safety guidelines.
• Document and report activities to supervisor.
• Respond to emergency situations and customer concerns promptly.
• Comply with codes, regulations and safety practices.
