Job summary

DCM Inc. maintains a growing MD facility and seeks a Maintenance Technician II to support the GM of Facilities. You will perform advanced maintenance and repairs with independence, mentoring newer technicians and improving maintenance processes in a safe, cost-conscious way.

You will troubleshoot HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and building systems, coordinate multiple work orders, and ensure compliance with procedures while enhancing reliability and safety across the site.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old for legal reasons.
• Pass Federal and State criminal history background check.
• Valid driver's license required.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of three years of maintenance experience.
• Advanced troubleshooting skills essential.
• Comfortable with heights.
• Fire extinguisher training a plus.
• Able to step over 28-inch tall rails.

Responsibilities

• General building upkeep and grounds maintenance.
• Ensure facility is clean, organized, and maintained per policy.
• Work with minimal supervision and prioritize workload independently.
• Troubleshoot equipment, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and mechanical systems.
• Execute work orders with preventive maintenance and timely repairs.
• Lead safety initiatives and communicate maintenance needs to management.
• Assist with inventory and spare parts management.
• Perform lab, irrigation, and cultivation equipment maintenance.
