DFM Solutions in Marshall, MI is seeking an experienced Facility Systems Technician II – HVAC & Mechanical Systems to support a state-of-the-art, 24/7 battery manufacturing facility. You will serve as the shift SME for critical building systems, ensuring reliability, uptime, and performance.

The role requires advanced troubleshooting, strong mechanical aptitude, and the ability to respond quickly to issues. OSHA/EPA compliance and collaboration with Electrical and Controls teams are essential.

Formación

• 5+ years of industrial or large commercial HVAC maintenance experience.
• EPA Universal Refrigerant Certification is required.
• Experience working with Building Automation Systems (Siemens, Johnson Controls, Honeywell, Trane, or similar).
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, schematics, and equipment manuals.
• Strong understanding of pumps, motors, bearings, belts, controls, and mechanical equipment.

Responsabilidades

• Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on industrial HVAC and mechanical systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair AHUs, MAUs, exhaust systems, and water systems; maintain pumps, motors, valves, and related equipment.
• Monitor BAS/BMS alarms to maintain continuous facility operation.
• Diagnose HVAC, refrigeration, airflow, and mechanical system failures using sound troubleshooting methods.
• Collaborate with Electrical, Controls, and Maintenance Technicians to resolve complex issues.
• Perform inspections and preventive maintenance per schedule; document work in CMMS.
• Support commissioning, startup activities, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Maintain compliance with OSHA, EPA, NFPA, and site safety requirements.
• Provide technical guidance to maintenance team members as needed.
