Job summary

JE Dunn Construction Company seeks a Project Engineer for the Advanced Facilities Group. The role supports on-site supervision, QA/QC, procurement, and progress reporting for major Industrial & Manufacturing projects.

You will collaborate with foremen, subcontractors and team members to uphold safety and quality standards. The role emphasizes learning Lean practices, integrating self-perform opportunities, and developing strong communication within a large national team.

Qualifications

• Safety and quality mindset demonstrated on construction projects.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Familiarity with project reporting, schedules and QA/QC processes.
• Experience with procurement, change management and site documentation.

Responsibilities

• Learn and participate in safety and quality plans and culture on site.
• Support QA/QC planning to ensure quality of tasks.
• Assist estimating, take-off and review of subcontractor proposals.
• Work on site with project team to monitor crew size, hours, materials and equipment.
• Support punch lists, inspections, safety reviews and required documentation.
• Disseminate drawings and specs with the latest information.
• Attend and contribute to project meetings and prepare/disseminate reports.
