Job summary
The Service Technician II will support electric vehicle and mobility equipment projects with advanced diagnostics, and EOL autonomous vehicle equipment commissioning. You will work independently on defined tasks and collaborate with internal customers and team members.
Responsibilities include diagnosing complex electronic and wiring issues, assembling and repairing harnesses, validating DAT/ADAS/AV/EV systems, and staying current with OEM training requirements while traveling up to 30% for
Qualifications
- Master technician certification and OEM training are required.
- Eight+ years as an automotive technician or equivalent.
- Proficient in diagnostics of powertrain, networking, and high-voltage systems.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose complex electronic and assembly issues using hardware/software combos.
- Communicate with cross-functional teams on advanced electrical and autonomous systems.
- Follow work instructions from tech papers, schematics, 2D/3D prints, cut sheets.
- Assemble, modify, and repair wiring harnesses from schematics using hand tools.
- Validate DAT/ADAS/AV/EV systems functionality.
- Travel up to 30% for training and team meetings.
