Job summary

Amerit Fleet Solutions in Los Angeles is seeking an experienced EV Technician / Automotive Mechanic to maintain, diagnose, and repair advanced electric and autonomous vehicle systems.

You’ll work across diagnostics, electrical, A/C, and hardware retrofits, with prioritised safety and thorough documentation. You’ll join a team that provides weekly pay, comprehensive benefits, and ongoing training.

Qualifications

• Hands-on automotive technician experience, EV experience a plus.
• Strong diagnostic skills in electrical systems, brakes, suspension, alignment, and A/C.
• Experience with advanced vehicle hardware, retrofits, and troubleshooting.
• Comfortable using automotive tools, diagnostic equipment, and computer software.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and safety commitment.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to evolving vehicle technology.
• Ability to perform essential physical job duties, with accommodations as needed.
• Ability to meet pre-employment screening requirements, including drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, service, and repair electric/autonomous vehicle systems.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, A/C, and integrated vehicle systems.
• Perform complex AV hardware replacements and retrofits.
• Complete software and firmware updates.
• Collaborate with engineering and service teams on technical challenges.
• Document repairs, diagnostics, and maintenance accurately.
• Support fleet-wide technology upgrades while maintaining safety and quality standards.
