Job summary

Avis Budget Group seeks an EV Technician C to perform foundational maintenance and diagnostic tasks for electric vehicle platforms, ADAS systems, and safety procedures in a hands-on training environment. You’ll work under supervision with senior technicians, building EV expertise and using diagnostic tools.

The position emphasizes on-site presence in Dallas with opportunities to learn high‑voltage and low‑voltage procedures, safety standards, and OTA software updates, while benefitting from

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of automotive technician experience.
• Interest in hybrid and/or electric vehicle systems.
• At least one ASE certification (A1–A8) required.
• EV ASE Level 1 and Level 2 certifications required within 6 months of hire.
• ADAS and alignment training in progress preferred.
• Ability to follow detailed procedures and safety standards.
• Basic computer skills and comfort using diagnostic software.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks.

Responsibilities

• Tire repair and replacement services in line with safety standards.
• Preventive maintenance including filters and belts replacement.
• Brake service including pads and rotors.
• Replace fuses, bulbs, indicator lights, and 12V batteries.
• Support basic suspension components and sensor alignment.
• Assist with wheel inspection and related sensors.
