Job summary

TSMG is seeking a Service Technician Associate to join our Service Operations team. You will maintain and repair a growing fleet of hybrid and electric vehicles, document findings, and diagnose issues using hardware and software tools.

Collaboration across teams will be essential to validate ADAS, AV, and EV system functionality. You will work independently and in small teams, travel up to 15% for training and support at other locations, and adhere to safety and screening requirements.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED with 2 years of employment experience.
• Experience working on vehicles professionally; garage experience preferred.
• Knowledge of vehicle diagnostic hardware and software.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Willingness to travel up to 15% for training or support of other office locations.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to meet driving record requirements.
• Ability to meet safety screening and background check requirements.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair a growing fleet of hybrid and electric vehicles.
• Accurately document all findings and track time accordingly.
• Diagnose issues using supplied hardware and software combinations.
• Communicate with cross functioning teams on electrical and electronic systems and autonomous control systems.
• Follow documented work instructions completely and accurately.
• Validate DAT (Driver Assist Technologies), ADAS, AV and EV systems functionality.
• Work in small teams as needed to complete engineering requirements.
• Track inventory of the location's parts and supplies.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
