Job summary

bioMérieux in Missouri is seeking an experienced Electronic/Instrumentation Technician to evaluate, assemble, align and test automated electro-mechanical biological systems, maintaining stock and performing production tasks safely in a regulated environment.

Responsibilities include sub-assembly and final acceptance testing, electro-mechanical assembly, documentation per GMP, training of other technicians, and troubleshooting to resolve issues.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent.
• 3+ years’ experience as an Electronic Technician or Instrument Manufacturing Technician including knowledge of mechanical and electro-mechanical functions, advanced laws of electricity, microprocessor and analog systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform sub-assembly and final assembly acceptance test operations accurately and timely.
• Perform electro-mechanical assembly operations of a complicated nature.
• Ensure proper completion of supporting documentation, following GMP guidelines.
• Assist in training of Senior Assembler and other Technicians.
• Ability to conduct advanced test procedures.
• Perform all work in compliance with company quality procedures and standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
