bioMérieux in Saint Charles, MO, is seeking an Electronic/Instrument Technician to perform evaluation, refurbishment, assembly, alignment, and acceptance testing of automated electro-mechanical biological test systems. The role includes ensuring GMP-compliant documentation, training peers, and executing advanced test procedures.

Minimum requirements include a High School Diploma or GED and 3+ years’ experience in a related field. Proficiency with MS Office and math is expected; travel is minimal.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 3+ years’ experience as Electronic/Instrument Technician including knowledge of mechanical and electro-mechanical functions.

Responsibilities

• Perform sub-assembly and final assembly acceptance test operations accurately and timely.
• Perform electro-mechanical assembly operations of a complicated nature.
• Ensure proper completion of supporting documentation, following GMP guidelines.
• Assist in training of Senior Assembler and other Technicians.
• Ability to conduct advanced test procedures.
• Perform all work in compliance with company quality procedures and standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
