Job summary

bioMérieux in Missouri seeks an experienced Electronic Technician to evaluate, refurbish, assemble, align and test automated electro-mechanical biological systems. The role includes maintaining stock and ensuring safe, regulated production activities.

Primary duties cover sub-assembly tests, complex electro-mechanical assembly, GMP-compliant documentation, and training of other technicians. Requires diploma and 3+ years’ related experience, strong math/blueprint skills, and teamwork.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 3+ years’ experience as an Electronic Technician or Instrument Manufacturing Technician.
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and assembly procedures.
• Strong troubleshooting and math skills.
• Proficient in MS Office (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel).
• Knowledge of GMP guidelines and quality procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform sub-assembly and final assembly acceptance test operations accurately and timely.
• Perform electro-mechanical assembly operations of a complicated nature.
• Ensure proper completion of supporting documentation, following GMP guidelines.
• Assist in training of Senior Assembler and other Technicians.
• Ability to conduct advanced test procedures.
• Perform all work in compliance with company quality procedures and standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
