Job summary

bioMérieux in Missouri is seeking an Electronic Technician to evaluate, refurbish, assemble and test automated bio-analytical systems at an advanced level. You will perform sub-assembly and final assembly acceptance tests, document results and adhere to GMP guidelines.

The role requires 3+ years of relevant experience, high school diploma or equivalent, strong troubleshooting skills, ability to read blueprints, and the capacity to work safely in a regulated manufacturing environment with

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent.
• 3+ years’ experience as Electronic Technician or Instrument Manufacturing Technician including knowledge of mechanical and electro-mechanical functions, advanced laws of electricity, microprocessor and analog systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform evaluation, refurbishment, assembly, alignment and acceptance testing of automated electro-mechanical biological test systems.
• Perform sub-assembly and final assembly acceptance test operations accurately and timely.
• Ensure proper completion of supporting documentation, following GMP guidelines.
• Assist in training of Senior Assembler and other Technicians.
• Ability to conduct advanced test procedures.
• Perform all work in compliance with company quality procedures and standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
