Job summary

Penske Truck Leasing is seeking a Technician II in West Babylon, NY, who will perform preventive maintenance and repairs on a diverse fleet. You will diagnose issues, log work, and mentor less experienced technicians while following Penske safety and maintenance policies.

You’ll train in Penske’s maintenance processes and technology, with opportunities for career growth, competitive pay, and comprehensive benefits. Strong teamwork and a focus on safety are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; vocational/technical certification in vehicle repair preferred.
• 3 years of practical vehicle maintenance experience.
• ASE 608/609 certs preferred; OEM training and DOT/OSHA compliance familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Make sure vehicles are maintained and safe for customers.
• Perform preventive maintenance services with minimal supervision.
• Repair and troubleshoot engines, transmissions, differentials, turbochargers, fuel systems.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area and use Penske tools to log repairs.
