The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of diesel/heavy equipment experience, strong hydraulic and electrical troubleshooting skills, and the ability to work with a schedule that may require bilingual communication.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; trade school/training desired.
• 3–5 years of mechanic experience with diesel or heavy equipment preferred.
• Advanced knowledge of hydraulic systems and troubleshooting.
• Advanced knowledge of electrical systems and troubleshooting.
• Bilingual ability may be required depending on location.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on equipment to minimize downtime.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical failures on a variety of equipment.
• Work with a safety-focused team to ensure proper procedures.
• Maintain documentation of repairs and services performed.
