Job summary

Sunbelt Rentals is seeking a Mechanic to perform preventive maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on a range of equipment including aerial work platforms, pumps, and HVAC systems. You will work with a team in a safety-focused environment, supporting uptime and service quality across North America.

The role requires 3–5 years of diesel/heavy equipment experience, strong hydraulic and electrical knowledge, and flexibility to adapt to changing priorities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required, some trade school or equivalent training desired.
• 3–5 years of mechanic experience with diesel/heavy equipment or specialty lines equipment preferred.
• Knowledge of hydraulic and electrical systems; troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to be flexible with changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance, diagnostics and repairs on equipment.
• Work on a variety of makes, models and equipment to minimize downtime.
• Operate in a safety-focused environment and follow Sunbelt Rentals procedures.
