Job summary

Sunbelt Rentals is seeking a skilled Mechanic to perform preventive maintenance, diagnostics and repairs on a diverse fleet of equipment, from aerial work platforms to pumps and HVAC systems.

You will work with a safety-focused team, follow repair best practices, and contribute to uptime while advancing your skills in service and operation management. Strong diesel/heavy equipment experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required, some trade school or equivalent training desired.
• 3 to 5 years of mechanic experience with similar diesel equipment and/or heavy equipment or specialty lines equipment strongly preferred.
• May need to provide mechanic’s tools of the trade.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance, diagnostics and repairs on equipment.
• Work with a fleet including aerial work platforms, pumps, HVAC and other equipment.
• Follow safety protocols to minimize downtime and maintain uptime.
