Job summary

BD seeks a Sales Training and Development Manager to design and deliver education programs across the Advanced Diagnostics portfolio, including Microbiology, Molecular, Point of Care, and Lab Automation. You will partner with sales, marketing, and product teams to build impactful curricula for new-hire and ongoing training.

The role requires travel up to 70%, near a major airport in Central or West time zones, with a focus on sales readiness, coaching, and measurable outcomes to drive

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 3+ years of professional training experience; field or sales training preferred.
• 3+ years of medical sales experience strongly preferred.
• 5+ years of successful professional development experience with measurable results.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver onboarding and product training for new sales hires.
• Create instructor-led, distance learning, video and web curricula for launches.
• Travel with sales teams to coach and elevate performance.
• Develop training for tenured sales personnel and sales managers as needed.
• Collaborate with Sales Enablement, Marketing and Product Management on new launches.
• Track training outcomes and maintain scorecards.
