Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate degree or coursework in business/finance/accounting preferred.
• 3+ years of experience in collections or AR preferred.
• Experience managing delinquent or complex accounts required.
• Experience negotiating payment arrangements, settlements, or other account resolutions preferred.
• Experience researching complex billing or payment discrepancies preferred.
• Experience working in a high-volume customer contact environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of complex delinquent accounts.
• Execute collection strategies based on status and procedures.
• Contact customers to secure payment and resolve balances.
• Negotiate payment arrangements and settlements.
• Review histories to determine next steps.
• Prioritize accounts by delinquency and risk.
• Meet productivity and recovery targets.
• Prepare accounts for Final Notice and Cancel Non-Pay actions.
• Escalate complex accounts to leadership as needed.
• Document communications and settlement activity.
• Maintain confidentiality and comply with regulations.
• Collaborate with internal departments to resolve issues.
